Ronald Bruce Munro Obituary

Mr. Ronald Bruce Munro, age 78, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at his residence.  Ronald was born on September 13, 1947, the son of Edward James Munro and Mildred Jane Totten.

Ronald was a veteran of the United States Navy.  A passionate golfer, Ronald, spent countless hours on the course, sharing laughs and fine-tuning his swing.  When he wasn’t on the green, he just appreciated the great outdoors, and the various wildlife it provided.  Ronald was also a very talented artist as he enjoyed painting and bringing his visions to life on a canvas.  He also loved to read and was a believer that constant learning continued to open your mind to new adventures.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; his step father, Robert Goodrich; and his brother, Edward.  He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; his son, Rustin Munro; and four granddaughters, Kimberly, Olivia, Jasmine, and Zoie.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 2:30 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY.  Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home in Brandenburg, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM on Thursday.
