Ruth Ann (Sego) Rogers

            Mrs. Ruth Ann (Sego) Rogers, age 68, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020, at her residence.  Ruth loved to travel, as she travelled across Europe.  She loved to dance and ride motorcycles.  The greatest joy in her life, however, was spending time with her children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and the all of her family.  They all truly were the apple of her eye. 

            Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by her parents, Charles William and Alice Marie Mitchell Sego; and three siblings, Janet, Ricky and Dwayne.  She is survived by four children, Melissa Renee “Missy” Boston and her husband, Mike, Angel Michelle Sedoris and her fiancé Monica Leanne Guzman, both of Louisville, KY, Tammy Marie Bates and her husband, James, Brandenburg, KY, Larry H. “Willie” Sedoris, and his wife, Sue, St. Augustine, FL; 11 grandchildren, Michael Bruce Reitzel and his wife, Mandy, Jeremy Wayne Reitzel and his wife, Angela, Brittany Nicole Maglet, Mark Anthony Bates and his wife, MaKenna, Aaron Kenneth Bates and his fiancé, Kristy Lynn Halcomb, Ashley Marie Stapleton, Brennen Lee House, Matthew Dean Jenkins, Austin Reeve Jenkins, Shyann Mae Atkins; 12 great grandchildren and two on the way; her step mother, Carolyn Sego; and nine siblings, Jerry Sego, Sr., Vanita Sego, Mitch Lee, Shawna Marie Lay, Brad Lee, Cassandra Sego, Scott Allen, Troy Glover and Theron Glover; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

            Funeral Services and visitation will be held privately for Mrs. Rogers’ immediate family only, due to health concerns.  The service will be streamed online to the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society online at https://donate3.cancer.org.
