Sandra Gail (Humphrey) Osborne

Mrs. Sandra Gail (Humphrey) Osborne, age 61, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, with her loving family by her side. Sandy was born on December 12, 1960, the daughter of Clay Velandinghand and Edith Kathryn (Greer) Humphrey.  She was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.

Sandy enjoyed many different things in life.  She loved to ride motorcycles with her husband and cooking.  Sandy was a very talented artist and loved to listen to music and dance.  She especially enjoyed listening to the classic bands like the Eagles, Bob Segar and Journey.  She always liked to spend time with her family and spending time in her pool during the summer.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; her father and mother-in-law, George and JoAnn Thomas; four brothers, Don, Bob, Joe and Terry Humphrey; and her sister-in-law, Rosie Hebner.  She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Edward Osborne; her son, Jeremy Humphrey and his fiancé, Ricki Drinkwine; her grandson, Levi Humphrey; her brother, Tim “Bumpy” Humphrey; her sister, Tammy Humphrey; her special aunt, JoAnn Willett; two special nieces, Katie Jupin and Missy Weick; two great nieces, Dakata and Makayla; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Alzheimer’s Association.  The family would like to say a special thank you to Sandy’s cousin, Amanda Soudom, as well as, Alicia and all of the care team at Hosparus of Central Kentucky for the outstanding care that they provided.
