Mrs. Shellie Lynn Janik, age 57, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022, at her residence. She was born March 15, 1965, the daughter of Dan Thompson and Carol (Wertz) Minnes. Shellie was a cosmetologist by trade, but her most important job was staying home to raise her only son.

Shellie is survived by her loving husband, Kirk Janik; her son, Javen Janik; her mother, Carol Minnes; and her brother, Sean Thompson.

In honoring Shellie’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation. A Celebration of Shellie’s life will be held at a later date. Hager Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
