Mr. Stanley “Vern” Banks, age 71, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Elizabethtown, KY. Vern loved to fish and hunt.

Vern was preceded in death by his parents, Odell Banks and Sarah Campbell; his sister, Gloria Donaldson; and his brother, Roger Banks. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Theresa Banks; four children, Kim (Mike) Sowards, Fauleen Banks, Stanley (Jennifer) Banks, Jr., and Michelle (Caleb) Lindsey; 12 grandchildren, Brandon and Kynsi Sisoumankhara, Ryan, Morgan, Sam, Mason, Autumn, Brenna, Dawson and James “Waylon” Banks, Katelyn Sowards and Chayce McGowan; six great grandchildren; eight siblings, Arlie Banks, Martha Campbell, Marvell Banks, Irvin Banks, Marvell Banks, Jr., Jim Campbell, Elaine Payne and Dewayne Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.

In honoring Vern’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation with no public services to be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hager Funeral Home.
