Miss Susan M. Crews, age 66, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020, at her residence. Susan was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree and became a lifetime member of Kappa Delta Sorority. After college, Susan became a Pharmaceutical Representative working for Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation where she won many awards including the prestigious ISE Award in 2012, a worldwide award, that was only given to a handful of people in the United States. Susan loved playing golf, bunco and bowling in her free time. Her greatest love in life was her parents, whom she had been a primary caregiver for the last several years. Susan loved, and was loved by her niece, nephews, friends and many neighbors. Susan loved life and always lived it to the fullest.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Maurice Crews; and her brother, Roger N. Crews. She is survived by her mother, Catherine Crews; her sister-in-law, Ann Marie Elpers; and her niece and nephews, Kyle Crews, Will and Dominic Elpers and Jody Kelty.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2020, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Father Dan Kreutzer officiating. The service will be streamed online to the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page, for those that may not be able to attend. Burial will follow in Mt. Merino Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the time of service on Friday.
