Thomas Earl Meadows

Mr. Thomas E. Meadows, age 66, of Battletown, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at his residence.  Tom was born September 28, 1955, the son of John Edward and Gertrude Verneal (Gentry) Meadows.  He retired from Ford Motor Company after 35 years of Service.  Tom was a member of United Auto Workers 862; of Eagle Scout Troop 195; DeMolay; Wolf Creek Baptist Church; and the Meade County Cattleman’s Association.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Meadows; his daughter, Jacqueline Jo Brown, Ekron, KY; his son, Travis Meadows, Flaherty, KY; his grandson, Levi Meadows; and his sister, Elizabeth Mae Rexroat, Louisville, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Bridge officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday; and from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Wolf Creek Baptist Church.
