Victoria Louise (Farmer) Gagel

      Mrs. Victoria L. Gagel, age 72, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at her residence.  Vicky was born March 30, 1951, the daughter of Robert and Doris McClary Farmer.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Brandenburg.

      Vicky is survived by her husband, Bernard R. “Shorty” Gagel; three step-children, Kim Clark, Bob Gagel and his wife, Elissa, and Whitney Matthews and her husband, Gerard; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy Farmer, Henderson, KY, and Joe Farmer, Haysville, KS; and several nieces and nephews.

       Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023, from the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Seth Miller officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Friday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church.
