Mr. Wade Lamar Benham, age 75, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at his residence. Wade was born February 27, 1947, the son of Miles and Gladys (Jupin) Benham. Wade proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Brandenburg Telephone Company after 46 years of service.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia (Lawson) Benham; his son, Joseph “Jody” Benham; and two sisters, Norma Grace Holston and Ruby Thomas. He is survived by his granddaughter, Erica Crawford and her husband, Mike; his grandson, Austin Benham; his daughter-in-law, Theresa Benham; his sister, Gloria Dix; two brothers-in-law, Ricky and Dudley Lawson; three nephews, Donald Eli (Michele) Dix, Wesley (Debbie) Holston, and Michael (Stacy) Thomas; and four nieces, Norma (Joe) Bartley, Valerie (Earl) Kirby, Sharon (Lou) Acuna and Michelle (David) Lucas.
A Celebration of Wade's life, with military honors, will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Weldon Christian Church, with Rev. Gary True officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project.
