Wanda Sue (McNally) Compton

Mrs. Wanda Sue Compton, age 75, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY.  Mrs. Compton was a Baptist by faith and truly loved her Lord and Savior.  She was an avid bird watcher, but her greatest love in this life was her grandchildren and family.

 Mrs. Compton was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Compton; her parents, Martin and Etta (Peak) McNally; and four siblings, Mauriese, Bobby and Johnny Bob McNally, and Kay McNally Hunter.  She is survived by three daughters, Theresa Wilkins and her husband, Robert, Brandenburg, KY, Cindy McMahan and her husband, Mark, and Lisa Myers and her husband, Billy, both of Flaherty, KY; eight grandchildren, Mindy Hipp, Whitney (Adolfo) Martinez,  Rob (Ally) Wilkins, Don (Shannon) McMahan, Kim (Jarrett) Joyner, Kelly Timberlake, Kody (Ashley Moorman) Timberlake, Erica and Bryan Wolfinbarger; 13 great grandchildren, LT, Cam and Bailey Hipp, Danica, Caleb, Liam and Noah Martinez, Allie and Laynee McMahan, Max and Abby Joyner, Paige Williams and Lennon Wolfinbarger; her brother, Donnie McNally, Virginia Beach, VA; and her sister, Linda Wathen, Brandenburg, KY.

 Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 31, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. William “Happy” Chandler officiating.  The service will also be streamed online to the Hager Funeral Home Facebook page.  Burial will follow in Garnettsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Sunday.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
