William Hale Obituary

Mr. William Roger “Bill” Hale, age 61, of Radcliff, KY, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.  Bill was a member of Brandenburg United Methodist Church where he was active in the Men’s Bible Study.  He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle.  He was a jokester who had an amazing sense of humor.  But most importantly, he truly loved his family.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie on August 11, 2021; his mother, Larue Pugsley Cox; his dad, Walter Hale; his brother, Ed Hale; and his 1st wife, Kitty Lee Tomlin Hale.  Bill is survived by two children, Steven (Chris) Hale and Leslie (Josh) Lewis; four grandchildren, Zander, Zachery, Spencer and Makyleigh Lewis; three step children; 15 step grandchildren; three sisters, Maxie Abernethy, Merrijane Denter, and Kathy Bundy; three brothers, Richard, Mike and John Hale; and many others who loved him.

Joint funeral services for Bill and Jeannie will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Lynn Beach officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Thursday.  The family requests that everyone wear masks and observe social distancing during the visitation and service.
