William Joseph McGaren

     Mr. William Joseph McGaren, age 83, of Brandenburg, KY passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN.  He was born July 14, 1938 the son of Sylvester and Frances Gallingher McGaren.  He retired from American Air Filter after many years of service.

      Mr. McGaren is survived by his wife of 64 years, Norma Lee Etta (Welch) McGaren; three children, Rebecca Hardesty and her husband, Jackie, Scott McGaren and Timmy McGaren; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

      In honoring Mr. McGaren’s wishes, cremation was chosen by the family.  A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday.
