Rebecca Woolfolk Shacklette

Mrs. Rebecca Woolfolk Shacklette, age 73, of Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017, at her residence. Rebecca was a lifetime member of the Women of the Moose; an avid quilter; a former member of the Brandenburg City Council; and was the caretaker of Cap Anderson Cemetery in Brandenburg for many years.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, Larry T. Shacklette; her daughter, Mary Margaret Miller; and her parents, Houston and Geneva Kitterman Woolfolk. She is survived by two children, Elizabeth Lindsey, and her husband, Kelly, Guston, KY, and Sam Shacklette, and his wife, Lisa, Worcester, MA; 7 grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Emily Miller Rhodes, Allyn Miller, Grant Wiles, Abby Lindsey, Sarah Shacklette and Cooper Shacklette; two great granddaughters, Kendall Green and Emma Miller; and her loving pet, Sally.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM on Thursday, and at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of mass on Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, or to the American Cancer Society.
