Betty Ruth Bowen

Mrs. Betty Ruth Bowen, age 77, Ekron, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY.  Mrs. Bowen was born May 29, 1940, the daughter of Earl and Nancy Harrison.

Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, David Swift; a brother, Charlie Harrison; and a sister, Ann Melcher.  She is survived by her husband, Rodney Bowen; three children, Jimmy Rodgers, Rineyville, KY, Pam Swift, Mt. Washington, KY, and Sandy (Bill) Gentleman, Leitchfield, KY; a grandson, Lee Collins; and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Buck Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3-8 PM on Monday, and from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday.
